Fresh Vegetable Blend
Blend a variety of vegetables in a VitaMix or regular blender using 1/8 C of water to help in the processing. Keep adding vegetables until you get 2.5 Cups of processed vegetable mix. Picture to the right is 1/4th the amount of the 2.5 Cups of the vegetable blend before it is blended. VitaMix allows you to get a much more concentrated vegetable mix. See the "Vegetable Blend Additional Information" below.
Vegetable Blend Additional Information:
Use any and all the vegetable ingredients listed. Use dark green lettuce, romaine lettuce and spinach as your primary ingredients. Add kale, broccoli, and zucchini in medium amounts and cabbage, peppers and celery in small amounts. Feel free to add other ingredients but start in small amounts to ensure they don’t overpower. Any vegetable that is used for spice such as parsely or cilantro should be used in minute amounts. Avoid cauliflower (taste), sprouts (bacteria) and tomatoes/ root vegetables which can upset some tummies (or so I’ve read on line).
